Departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate through the high atlas mountains and the road to the Tichka pass (2260M altitude), then the Ounila valley and discovery of the sites of Telouet and Aït Ben Haddou. Visit of the unesco world heritage site and after lunch we continue to the palm grove of Skoura where you will spend the evening and night in a guest house.
Leave Skoura by the tracks for an authentic discovery then join the valley of the roses and the Dades gorges, after the visit of the big canyons of the Dades and photo stop at the rock toas monkey we will continue to Tineghir and the Todgha gorges, after the gorges our travel continues to Merzouga, stopping for lunch in the village of Tinejdad. And then, continuation towards Erfoud on the way we will stop to discover the Khettaras (irrigation system) which give the landscape a very particular aspect, then we will continue to cross a beautiful road marked out by Ksours and oasis before reaching Merzouga.
You will reach the desert camp on the back of camels after a camel ride of about 2 hours which will allow you to enjoy a magnificent sunset behind the dunes of Erg chebbi. Evening at the bivouac installed at the foot of the sand under the stars
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and enjoy the change of colors with the sunrise, ride a camel back to the hotel to begin an exploration trip around the village of Merzouga. We will leave from the village of Khamlia, the village of blacks from Africa to enjoy a moment with them while playing Gnawa music. After that we continue to visit the Mifiss fossil factory and then continue to meet the local nomads who will welcome us and let us into their daily privacy.
After, we will continue to visit the city of Rissani, one of the oldest cities in Morocco and the ancient capital of Morocco; visit the souks and have a traditional Madfouna lunch (a traditional Berber meal). Meet at the hotel at 4 p.m. and take some free time to climb the dunes and take photos or you can again ride a camel and sleep at the desert camp.
On your return from the bivouac, you will take the direction of the Drâa valley, crossing the Jebel Sagho and its austere landscapes. You will pass through the villages of Alnif, Tazzarine, then N'Khob on the road to the kasbahs and we will reach the Drâa valley, the largest palm grove in Morocco. Evening and night in Agdz in a guest house.
Last day of the visit and return to Marrakech, after leaving Agdz, you will cross the rocky gorges of the Draa valley to reach Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch and visit another kasbah of Taourirt, listed as a World Heritage Site. UNESCO, before returning to Marrakech by the same high atlas road and the tichka pass.
