Depart early in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech, you will head to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas before reaching the Tizi N'Tichka pass. With a height of 2,260 meters, it is the highest road crossing in Morocco. It connects the Saharan regions of Marrakech, of which Ouarzazate is the crossroads.

Ouarzazate is one of the most popular Moroccan sites with filmmakers around the world. one of the cinematographic assets of this place is the quality of the light, its popularity increases with the realization of Lawrence of Arabia in 1962, filmed in particular on the site of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a small village near Ouarzazate having by the following was classified as world heritage.

You will then stop for a visit to the famous fortified city of Aït Ben Haddou. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its Kasbah has been the backdrop for many films including the Diamond of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Jewel of the Nile, Jesus of Nazareth, the Mummy, Gladiator and Babel. After lunch, you can enjoy free time to enjoy a mint tea and enjoy the green valley and the magnificent view of the peaks of the High Atlas. The Kasbah Taourirt is another fortified city around Ouarzazate. The construction was made of adobe, has two crenellated towers and is considered one of the best preserved kasbahs in Morocco. At the end of the day, you will be returned to your accommodation in Marrakech.
