Overview :

From the plain to the mountains, the road leading to the Cascades d'Ouzoud crosses many Berber villages. Arrived at 900 m of altitude, you then discover one of the most beautiful natural attractions of Morocco: 3 large waterfalls dividing into a complex network to supply ponds, 100 m lower, where it is good to bathe. You can have lunch to the muffled and soothing sound of the waterfalls, in small café-restaurants installed on terraces. The magots, little jokey monkeys, are sure to come and tease you.

Pick up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech early in the morning at 8am, and you will be accompanied by an English speaking driver / guide. The road you take crosses the Haouz plain and a succession of villages and small towns.

A mountain road then takes you to the Ouzoud Falls about 110 meters high and is located in the province of Tanaghmeilt, 150 kilometers from Marrakech, in the Atlas Mountains.

The walk near the waterfalls is really beautiful; you can approach the waterfalls from both sides while contemplating the flora and fauna of the region. Do not be surprised to see monkeys which are very numerous there.

The more intrepid can opt for a swim in the river; the water is very clean although its temperature is not very high. Descent to discover the beautiful waterfalls, springing up among the olive trees. You take a nice walk around and see the loot signs.

Lunch in a restaurant with a panoramic view of the waterfalls. Return to Marrakech by the same road. Arrival at your hotel or riad at the end of the day.
